The Malacca night life scene beckons every night as sunset has the neon lights sparking to life as the decibels emanating from the speakers rise acting as a magnet to the Malacca night life owls. The two primary areas of focus for Malacca nightlife are the Melaka Raya and Jonker Road locations with the former being the more extreme venue for the severe enjoyable hunters.

The Malacca night life in Jonker Street is a little less passionate compared with its Melaka Raya counterpart although some might state what it does not have in volume it even more than offsets in class. The weekend is when Jonker Road really comes to life with the Jonker Street Night Market occurring along the roads that are pedestrian just during the night thus allowing lots of establishments the capacity to raise both capacity & al-fresco environment by providing the front of their shoplots with added seating. I like absolutely nothing more than the possibility to bask outside a restaurant in a fashionable area like Jonker Street & view the world go by whilst delighting in excellent food & conversation over a cup of my preferred green tea. Sheer happiness! One location I specifically like is the Geographers Cafe where you might opt to sit outside or upstairs & relish the Jonker Street activities while gorging on their luxurious menu. Other locations of note are the Libar Cocktail Home, Ringo's Classic Café Malacca & the Far East Coffee shop that all attract a faithful & large crowd at weekends.
The Melaka Raya Jetty is a home entertainment center in its own right, it has everything from dining establishments, bars, nightclubs and karaoke and there are even outdoor areas where you can appreciate a nice meal while enjoying the sun setting over the Straits of Malacca. The Jetty is 400 metres long and the management offer a buggy to allow the more physically tested patrons the chance of a complimentary trip up and down the Jetty. 2 of the more recognized places on the Melaka Raya jetty are Go Go KTV Lounge and The Jetty Sports Bar and the party starts below every weekend.
